  1. Doesn't seem to work

    I just bought this equalizer app to clean up the hollow sounding audio of the online lectures that I'm watching for college. But the app seems to have no influence on the audio output of my laptop. Can you help? Thanks

    Hi there,

    I assume you are referring to Equalizer for MAC. At this point, you have to select the song to play specifically through the app. Once you do that, the eq does its magic.
    Can you confirm?

  2. Equalizer visual clipping prompts

    Please restore the visual prompts that show audio clipping is occurring. These were located on the volume and preamp sliders and turned yellow or red based on the amount of audio frequency clipping Equalizer was applying based on current volume and preamp settings. This was extremely helpful for me control volume without loss.

  3. add comfortable music player to the equalizer for mac osx

    Version 1.0 only allows to load one song after another. I (and maybe others as well) want to use the wonderful equalizer function you offer combined with the comfortable player functionality as implemented by iTunes or other good players.

  4. Please update Last Played and Playcount when playing songs.

    Please update the Last Played and Playcount attributes when a song is played. That will allow Smart Playlists based on Least Recently Played and so on to update properly when syncing device to iTunes.

  5. Spotify App?

    Any possibility of a Spotify EQ App? All the other EQ apps out there for Spotify are lame with no adjustment of Q Curve or even manual keyboard input for EQ values.

    Hi Joshua,

    At this point, Spotify does offer an API but the license does not allow the audio to be processed.

    I do not know how other app makers are doing it (they might just break the license agreement knowingly or they might have a special deal with spotify) but Audioforge does not believe in willfully breaking an agreement.

    So we cannot build an EQ for Spotify app. Even though I would love to build one. I am trying to negotiate a deal with Spotify but they more or less just ignore me. If you would email them asking for Audioforge support, that would certainly help.

    We did build an eq for Beats Music streaming and it is available in the app store for free.

    Hope that explains the situation.

  6. Podcast chapter support / scrubbing for long tracks

    Trying to skip around in a long track (> 1 hour) is tough/annoying:
    the slider jumps forward/backwards ~1-2 minutes after letting go with your finger.

    Possible solutions (already present in iTunes/Podcasts apps):
    - 15 second skip forward/backward buttons
    - Podcast chapter support

  7. Show additional id3Tag information

    Show additional id3Tag information of playing song. For example Year, Comment, BPM, etc.
